Among my responsibilities at Business Professionals' Network, was overseeing the technology and logistics related to production of the live video webcasts, which were sold to customers as continuing education programs. After years of operating out of the previous studio, the company decided to relocate to a new location.
The move provided an opportunity to have a new studio built to our specifications. I worked with the building's architect and internal stakeholders to develop a floor plan to meet the company's primary logistical goals of:
When the time came for the move, it had to take place during a four week period between the last live broadcast at the old location, and first live broadcast at the new one. I oversaw the old studio teardown, and construction in the new location.
Thanks to the tremendous efforts of our team, we were able to get everything up and running in the new location for the live program deadline, and the move has been extremely beneficial to the company.
