Lesley's Lunches
Description
The second course taken in my graduate program was based around the creation of a website for a local business, designed and developed with user research.
The final project for the course, incorporated all the user research acquired during development, and was done entirely with hand coded HTML and CSS. (No templates or frameworks were permitted or used for the final project.) The project can be found online at lesleyslunches.jeffparente.net.
In addition, major elements of the project included:
- Project discovery
- Conducting user interviews
- Creation of UX documentation, including creating user personas, empathy mapping, and key task modeling
- Conducting card sorts for information analysis
- Wireframing
- Prototyping and evaluating
- Final project site

In addition, upon completion of the final project for the course, I built a another site for the client, to make it easier for her to update the information on it. Thus, I created this second site utilizing the information and design developed and wordpress as the content management system.
